Live performances by Ukulele artist Kalei Gamiao. From musical styles ranging from jazz, rock, pop, classical, blues, flamenco, and funk, Kalei showcases his passion for music through this simple four-stringed instrument. Since his debut album, Kalei has toured the United States, Japan, Thailand, and has also opened up for world famous entertainer Bill Cosby. Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce (HJCC) is one of Honolulu's major business organizations, representing a cross-section of the city's businesses, industries and professions with a Pacific-wide view of business and economic development with Japan.
Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce (HJJCC) is open to individuals of any ethnicity from age 21 through 39. The HJJCC offers its members numerous opportunities to develop leadership, managerial and organizational skills through community service projects such as the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
Hawaii United Okinawa Association (HUOA) serves as the umbrella organization for 48 member clubs statewide. The member clubs of the Hawaii United Okinawa Association are comprised of families whose ancestors immigrated to Hawaii from the same region in Okinawa. The HUOA thus plays an important role in fostering the Okinawan ethnic identity. The goal of all of HUOA's activities is to enhance awareness of the Okinawan culture and heritage in Hawaii and to share its richness with others in Hawaii and worldwide.
